1935 Ford 5 Window Hot Rod Coupe
I purchased this steel 1935 Ford Coupe in pieces, completed restoration in 2006/2007.
ENGINE: 502 CI Chevrolet crate motor 440 HP/515 lbs of torque. MSD ignition w/blaster 3 coil. 750 Demon carburetor w/electric choke new 6/15. B&M polished aluminum hi-tech air cleaner. Zoops billet serpentine belt system. Cool Flex SS radiator hoses. SS braided A/C hoses w/red fittings. Brassworks 4 core radiator w/high output 14" Derale electric fan with 2 additional SS radiators w/fans located behind front fender stone guards on separate switches. Accel chrome Alternator new 7/17. Chrome water pump. B805FF Jene SS water overflow tank. Jet hot coated inside and outside Hooker competition plus hugger headers.
TRANSMISSION: TH400 w/B&M shift improver kit. Dual oil coolers. Allison 2200 stall torque converter. Gennie floor shifter.
FRAME & CHASSIS: Heidts front suspension. Chassis Engineering parallel leaf rear springs. Chassis Engineering SS sway bar front and rear. SS rear traction bars. Mustang II power rack and pinion steering. Disc brakes front and drum rear with power brake booster frame mounted. 9" Ford big bearing 31 spline differential 3.25 ratio w/posi traction. Boxed frame rails w/tubular cross members. frame mounted positive battery jumper connection. Poly 16 gallon fuel tank. 2-1/2" SS exhaust system w/Magna Flow mufflers.
BODY: 1935 Henry Steel 5 window coupe. Custom made grille insert (have real 35 grill also needs work). Hot rod head lights. Front and rear fender, Bitchen stone guard protection kits. Bitchen smooth firewall. Rootlieb 4 piece steel hood w/louvered sides. Vintique hood prop. Cowl vent removed and filled. Roof canvas removed and opening filled. Door and trunk handles shaved w/Bearclaw latches and hidden hinges. Frenched 1939 Ford taillights, frenched 3rd brake light, frenched license plate frame. Front and rear bumpers removed but are included. Composite fenders w/smooth steel running boards. Hagen fuel door. Windshield glue in place.
INTERIOR: Light grey leather seats, door panels, headliner and trunk. Dark grey heavy duty carpet interior and trunk. Remote Rodtronics doors and trunk w/manual over ride rear wheel well. Specialty power windows and drivers seat.1986 T-Bird turbo coupe Recardo bucket seats. Big Als armrests w/power window switches. Filled dash w/VDO 6 gauge electric set and Billet surround. GM tilt column w/Lecaro mahogany wood and chrome steering wheel. Vintage A/C. Gennie emergency brake. Locar billet fuel and brake pedals. Painless ultimate 18 circuit wiring. Sanyo AM/FM cassette stereo radio and 6 disc CD player. Dual heavy duty sealed batteries w/dual switches new 6/17. Dual onboard air compressors. Dual electric Pegasus racing fuel pumps frame mounted with dual switches on the dash.
PAINT: Sterling Silver 33896 PPG Deltron 2000 upper, Medium Grey Metallic GM 8798 PPG Deltron 2000 lower, black base coat with clear coat over. Coupe was taken apart and painted 2011. Top silver was stained at a car show from construction debris Sliver was repainted in June 2017.
TIRES AND WHEELS: Billett Legacy wheels with deep set knockoffs. General tires P195/70R14 front and P235/75R15 rear. New 2015.
