1969 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J

This is a number’s matching three owners’ automobile with 79,260 original miles.
40 page complete build sheet.
The automobile has had a non-rotisserie restoration and been garage kept for last 25+ years.
Also covered in the garage as well.
No fowl weather driving.
The Pontiac 400cu 6.6 V8 factory motor was rebuilt to its entirety just over 2,000 miles ago at 77,061 miles.
The block was dipped and checked for cracks before rebuilding.
Motor was built to 400+hp and all work was done by a 37year veteran NHRA racer, who owns his own auto shop for 40 years in Tualatin, Oregon.
That power gets to the ground through the original TH400 3 speed transmission, rebuilt with a new torque converter.
Then finally through the 3:73 Posi Traction limited slip rear end.
Paint, of course, is not original, but very nicely done.
It’s a Ford color used in 1996 & 1997 on the Ford Escort.
The painter added heavy flake is the only difference.
The color is: UltraViolet Metallic.
The front and rear suspension has been replaced completely and then re-aligned.
Radiator was replaced this year by my engine builder and upgraded from a 3 core to a 4 core.
Brake and fuel system has been replaced.
American Racing rims (new last year) are on the car now.
Original redone Rally rims (see pics) are also included and boxed for transport and protection.
I have the original air cleaner setup, with the 400-4 on the lid, as well as what’s on the car and three other systems.
Anything that I changed slightly from the original setups, I packed and kept so anyone wanting it right back to 1969, they easily can do this.

Options of the car are as follows:
Power windows,
Factory wide bucket seats,
Anti-lock brakes,
Air Conditioning Compressor only missing,
AM/FM radio,
Rally clock,
New Cooper Cobra GT tires,
Air shocks in the rear,
New carpeting,
New floor mats.

Other than carpet, the rest of the interior is in original condition with no tears.
This automobile drives amazing.
It's like driving a new 1969 car!
Handles, rides, and runs fantastic.
It is a total blast at car shows!!
Be ready to talk ALL day.
I have lots of extras that go with the car.
Some mentioned here.
I know the whereabouts of this car from birth until now.
Even celebrate its' birthday of coming off the assembly line, December 8, 1968 from Pontiac Michigan.
It then became a California car in San Diego.
The first owner kept it for 35 years! Amazing.
Second owner had it for 12 years in Arizona, then to me, and I’ve had it the last 7 years.
I’ve been a Pontiac lover my whole life.
I’ve had 12 Pontiacs and 7 of them have been Grand Prix’s.
