This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Numbers Matching has been sold.
We have owned this car since 6/4/1973.
There was no indication of running gear replacement and appears to be a matching numbers car.
Daily driver for 5 years, summer ride since, very occasional since 2003.
We don't drive it enough to justify hanging on to it.
Original base 230 hp 283 had 98,175 mi. at purchase, currently 287,250 mi.
Rebuilt in 1994.
Base 3 speed, radio delete, 3.55 posi.

This is not a restored vehicle, it is one that has been thoroughly enjoyed by our family.
Brakes, exhaust, and clutch have been periodically serviced/replaced as necessary, original carb and radiator rebuilt.
We have allowed a certain "patina" to develop to ensure that we would not restrict our driving for fear of scratches or wear.
Time for somebody else to enjoy it.
