Custom Built By Owner/Seller Built on a highly modified & widened 1929 Model A frame "underslung design" to get pickup as low as possible.
1954 Dodge 241 cu. in. Red Ram Hemi.
Professionally machined & assembled.
Ross Racing 9.5 - 1 pistons.
Custom reground camshaft.
Offenhauser 3 X 2 intake manifold.
Modified to accept Rochester 2G Carbs.
Chromed valve covers modified to accept 426 cu. in. Plug Wires.
Custom built lake type headers with full exhaust through the frame.
Rebuilt 904 Chrysler automatic transmission.
Suicide front suspension.
Uses a round tube 1936 Plymouth front axle & brakes.
1966 Dodge Charger 8 3/4" rear end with 3:91 - 1 gears.
Brand new Firestone Bias Ply Tires.
5.60 X 15 Front & 8.10 x 15 Rear.
1932 Ford style dash with new Stewart Warner gauges.
Mounted in a vintage boat gauge panel.
Vintage style cloth covered wiring.
You see lots of street rods & hot rods at show 'n shines, but very few are built from the ground up using traditional parts.
This is a true Hot Rod using parts that would have been used in the 1950's & early 1960's.
The seller built the pickup for himself.
It is setup for a shorter driver.
That being said the current seat configuration & large diameter steering wheel could be changed to allow for a taller driver.
You would have to test fit it.
Every part of this pickup has been sandblasted & either epoxied and painted or chromed.
Lots of hours & money went into building this one of a kind traditional hot rod.
