History: Current owner was a gearhead, one of his hobbies was building rods, he won awards at the Roadster shows. Nomad was purchased 45+ years ago and has always been garaged. Nomad was driven for a while, estimate about 10 years ago Nomad tear down began for a ground up rebuild.
1955 Nomad: VIN: VC55K118229; Clean title, not branded; Style No 55-10640F; Body No CL 7458; Trim No 541; Paint No 631; Top ACC EZ1.
Condition: Good solid body, floor pans & frame; No evidence of body rust or damage; No rust in common places like roof or interior floorboards; No noticeable metal patching; Interior cab is stripped down;
Chrome: All interior/exterior trim appears available & accounted for; Most chrome is in excellent condition; Some spare chrome pieces.
Engine: Big block 8.1L engine appears rebuilt; 496 cubic inch, Vortec engine; Fuel-injection; Includes test start stand; (not installed).
Transmission: Automatic 4-speed; Hydra-Matic 4L80-E; P/N 24208421; GM-B4; 119-912H; includes transmission stand; (not installed).
Rear End: Ford 9-inch rear end installed; Heavy-duty leaf rear springs & traction control.
Brakes: 4-wheel disc brakes.
Interior: Appears all chrome garnishments included including headliner bows, tail gate ribs & window trim; 2 aftermarket interior front bucket seats; Radio; Glove box.
