Fall Swap Meet at Portland International Raceway
October 18th & 19th, 2014 - Portland, Oregon
The Fall Swap Meet at PIR was the place to be for great bargains on parts you may be looking for to finish your winter project. On Saturday, we saw a good amount of wheelin' n' dealin' going on, under cloudy skies, in the early afternoon. There was a variety of booths, from emblems to sheet metal, clothing to engines, complete cars to cars in a box.
As I walked around, from booth to booth, I enjoyed hearing the conversations going on between the gathering of car guys. For many, this 2 day event isn't all about buying, selling or swapping. It's about reconnecting with car buddies, sharing stories and shootin' the breeze over coffee.
